Thank you to Robbin Clark, principal at Utah School for the Deaf and Blind, for an amazing presentation to our fifth graders. Our fifth graders learned about braille, white canes(not a stick, a stick is something from a tree), and other tools used by the visually impaired.

Mrs Van Orman's 1st grade class experienced being doctors today. "We have been reading and learning about the human body in language arts. After lots of hard work, your children got to become doctors for a day! They put organs in their bodies, put together a skeleton, helped make someone feel better, and kept up on their doctor education by playing human body bingo. It was a fun exciting day!" -Mrs. Van Orman

To celebrate Legislators in the Classroom Week, Davis Teacher Leader Fellow and Special Educator, Mrs. Cutts, invited Senator Todd Weiler and House Representative Raymond Ward to visit Meadowbrook Elementary in Bountiful. Our Legislators were able to see our great teachers and students in action and learn more about all the many community programs Meadowbrook partners with. Students had a great time sharing their ideas and learning how the Utah Legislature works. Thank you Senator Weiler and Representative Ward for visiting our school!
