Meadowbrook Elementary enjoyed a vibrant cultural celebration in October when students from Viewmont High School's Latinos In Action (LIA) visited to share their Hispanic heritage. The high school students led engaging presentations about their native countries, highlighting traditions, music, language, and geography from across Latin America.
Elementary students listened eagerly, asked questions, and participated in a game to test to their knowledge on the diversity within Hispanic cultures. LIA students emphasized the importance of embracing and celebrating cultural backgrounds, while encouraging younger students to be proud of their own identities.
