Playworks is an outside organization that comes in and works with recess aids, staff, and students. They teach fun activities for the playground so that all students has a good recess. They cover core recess games and also introduce new games on a bi-weekly basis, so that students have new opportunities on the playground. The goal is to teach students how to resolve conflicts, work with each other, improve teamwork skills, and get the most out of each recess experience. We want everyone to have fun and also have something to do each recess.
